(Actually I tried to do that and couldn't figure out how&lt;br&gt;to do it in Facebook.)  Thank you Susan for your birthday wishes!&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;It may seem a bit strange that I did this but in addition to what I said&lt;br&gt;already in the post, I also have tired of wading through an increasing&lt;br&gt;amount of ancillary Facebook-y stuff. From the portal I get a small picture of what friends are doing (I use it for twitter, too) and I can comment right from the widget.
